Indonesia launched 3.3 trillion Rupiah to handle Covid-19 impact on the tourism industry
The Indonesian government will distribute a tourism stimulus package worth 3.3 trillion rupiah to tourism businesses and local governments to help improve the implementation of medical procedures at tourist destinations.
According to Indonesian Minister of Tourism and Creative Economy, Wishnutama Kusubandio, the main goal of this tourism support package is to help local governments deal with the economic and social impact of the Covid-19 epidemic, especially on in tourism and creative economy; and directly support restaurants and hotels that have lost revenue during the pandemic.

The Covid-19 pandemic has caused great losses to the Indonesian tourism industry, especially hotels and restaurants.
